Summary
Moisture could affect sensitive electronic components

Volvo and Transport Canada have recalled two of the Swedish brand's latest models to correct a manufacturing flaw that could allow water to leak into the cabin.

In 2017 S90 sedans and 2016 and 2017 XC90 crossovers, an incorrectly-installed air conditioning drain hose could deposit water into the car's interior. The resulting moisture might affect the operation of various electronic components, including those that control airbag and engine management systems.

Volvo is asking its dealers to inspect the A/C drain hoses in 3,848 affected vehicles and replace them where necessary.
